In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

Can anyone confirm the specifics for that? Were you given both neck tokens or did it vary?
What were the tokens? I'd guess Harpy Claw Amulet and Necklace of the Oak but I'm not sure.
Have you looked it up in the TDb?

It was the Harpy Claw Amulet and Necklace of the Oak.

Which one you got depends on which of the two adventures you were on. So you'd get one of them (not both) if you played through once.

So apparently no healing effects/magic will work on the lower planes w/o an AoW?

The power for 2013 Amulet of Wonder will be the same power as the Horn of Plenty effect.

In 2014, the AoW power will be cause wings to grow out of the back of the character. This will allow the character to Fly (at will). In addition, the character will suffer no penalties for being at high altitude.

In 2015, the AoW power will be the ability to be healed by non-spell magic or non-Special Power magic while on the Lower Planes. Healing spells cast by character and Special Powers from a character will still cure as normal while on the Lower Planes.

No, wait - spells and abilities will work, but the AoW will allow healing by non-spell magic or non-special power magic? What would that be, things like the fruits and rations?

The TDb entry for Amulet of Wonder now lists all previous and scheduled benefits.

Please let me know if anything was omitted or needs correcting.

Thank you for helping me fill in my knowledge gaps.

Very glad I picked up an AoW in my PyP this year based on blind faith. Glad that will pay off for years to come! :)

I read that as scrolls, potions, & misc. items like frostberries, rations, etc. not working....which is troublesome.

I read it that way as well, although I also speculated that it might apply only in Nightmare difficulty runs

I figured it would apply on all runs but there would be other tokens in the set that countered it.

Might mean things like ring of regeneration or templar set don't work?
